A graduate in Art History and a travel enthusiast from the beginning, after years of living and working abroad, I returned to my homeland and the city where I was born; like they say from the Basques, that many of them venture out into the world, but all are coming back eventually. I settled in my city Donostia, where I enjoy welcoming friends and tourists who come to visit and discover my region.
I love showing my guests the corners of my city and the most characteristic landscapes or places of some Basque villages. I enjoy a lot observing that curious look in the eyes of my visitors, when telling them stories and anecdotes while they are savouring the authentic flavors of the region, overlooking the various places, landscapes. We will go for pintxos and try the specialty of each of the renowned bars.
My objective is to provide lively experiences of the small local or grande Basque gastronomy as well as our traditions,
I enjoy suggesting the best places to try typical dishes and explaining the cultural significance behind each bite. Gastronomy in Donostia and the Basque Country is a delight and a must for each gourmet. I love guiding others through the unique culinary experiences that the region offers. Whether it is a café with a history or a family restaurant, I will take you to places that convey the true taste of the city with San Sebastian being the city with the most Michelin stars per capita in the world. I am happy to provide the gourmets under my guests with more information about the star gastronomy of the city and the surrounding province of Guipuzcoa and pointing out the differences between the famous three star restaurants and their specialities.
Some of my guests have encountered me with my other great passion of yoga as instructor or certified yoga teacher.
